Ryanair has launched its very first “obtain one particular, get one particular no cost” sale in a bid to strengthen flagging passenger numbers.
Shoppers who e-book a flight in advance of midnight on Thursday for travel up to December 14 on 1,600 routes will get a 2nd ticket at no added price tag.
The move follows the airline’s choice to further lower operations due to coronavirus travel limits.
Its ability in October will be 40pc of 2019 ranges, compared with the 50pc it earlier declared.
Ryanair chief govt Michael O’Leary reported need for long term bookings was awful.
“Into November and December our forward bookings are jogging at all over 10pc – that’s about a quarter of in which they would commonly be at this time of the yr,” he explained to Sky Information.
“We won’t be able to rule out work losses but in Ryanair we’re surely desperately performing with our people today to reduce them.”
