HHS distributes $500 million to tribal hospitals, clinics, and urban health centers

On Friday, the Department of Health and Human Expert services introduced it would distribute $500 million to the Indian Health Service and tribal hospitals, clinics, and city wellness centers in response to COVID-19.

At least 233 facilities throughout the Indian wellness system provide as the only health care provider for the two Indian Health Service beneficiaries and non- beneficiaries.
