New Isolation Note Service Lets Employees Sign Off Sick with a Click

NHS Electronic has rolled out a new isolation note support that allows workers to sign-off ill for seven days without the need of a GP’s letter.

The support allows staff “self-certify” and then present “evidence for their employers that they have been encouraged to self-isolate… possibly for the reason that they have indications or they are living with anyone who has indications.”
